Tournament Rules: 1st and 2nd place teams of each group advance to the quarterfinals. In group/pool play and quarterfinals, games will be 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime. The semifinals, third place, and championship matches will be 30-minute halves with a 10-minute halftime.
Competition and Point System: In group/pool play, a win = 6 pts., a draw/tie = 3 pts. and a loss = 0 pts. Each goal scored is also awarded 1 pt. per goal for a maximum of 3 goals per game, and 1 pt. is awarded for a shutout. A losing team gets 0 pts. In the event of a 0-0 tie, each team gets 3 pts. If a team loses 4-2, the losing team gets 0 pts.
